In my designs, the rhombus shape (equilateral quadrilateral) appears in multiple transformations of color, transparency, gradient and size.
Exploring the possibilities hidden in these four properties, combined or in solitude, I designed the interior details of the aircraft: upholstery fabrics, wall, floor, ceiling and overhead lockers.
In this collection I explore the possibilities in my self-designed system.
With small changes and transitions I create a metamorphosis of dessins.
This way I am questioning my own system over and over again.
But where does this system end...?

A few years ago my grandmother died. The pictures we found at her house provided an answer to ‘my personal question’: Why am I who I am?
It seemed strange to see a picture of someone I never knew, but with a certain facial expression that is in me as well.
For me, the pictures are a form of ancestor-worship. In this collection I used the temporary sketchy, graphite gray past that leads you to the innovative present.
In this collection I tried to create a nostalgic feeling transformed into ‘the now’.
