Together with Hilde van Duijn I explored the possibilities of a textile recycling facility in the port of Rotterdam. Is it possible to recycle non-rewearable postconsumer textile in Rotterdam instead of shipping this textile waste to countries far away? Could these textiles be recycled into raw materials for new textile fibre production?
